Below is a list of non-profit organizations that the #VIstrongtee Team has worked with to date

Operation Rebuild Virgin Islands

A group of passionate, energetic, and resourceful Virgin Island natives that are focused on rebuilding our paradise after the destruction and devastation that was left in the wake of Hurricane Irma.  We have strategically mobilized efforts in the largest VI communities abroad, including groups in the NY Metro Area, DC Metro Area, ATL Metro Area, Dallas Metro Area and throughout Florida.  We are committed to delivering supplies and financial aid to our islands.
We are also partnered with an established and credentialed charitable organization on the ground, The Family Resource Center (FRC), which has been in existence for over 30 years.  Our operations team and the FRC are committed to serving the most vulnerable people in the community,

with a particular focus on women, children and the elderly who need our aid the most.

United Suns of the Virgin Islands

The “United Suns of the Virgin Islands” is a group of men from the Virgin Islands who have bonded through life-long friendships and have become family. We are committed to making a difference and giving back to our homeland.

Family Resource Center (FRC)

Family Resource Center (FRC) is a private nonprofit agency in the U. S. Virgin Islands with the mission of decreasing and eliminating Family Violence by providing 24-hr no-cost services to victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, Child Abuse and Elder Abuse.

In the aftermath of hurricane Irma, Family Resource Center was immediately chosen by many, to be a relief provider to affected families throughout the area. This continued after the effects of hurricane Maria.  Donors reported that FRC’s availability, preceding reputation and hands-on response style were their deciding factors.  Management of FRC organized a distribution team of staff and volunteers, then established various distribution sites where families and individuals could accept needed supplies, donated by caring individuals and groups, from the mainland United States and beyond. FRC’s approach to service has been valuable in easing the tensions within homes, many of which have grown since these catastrophic events.  Along with these ongoing relief efforts, this agency remains available for counseling services and responds to the 24-hour emergency hotline.
